I see our relationship as an important aspect of the therapeutic process. When I first meet you I focus primarily on understanding your needs and if I am someone you can relate to and communicate with.
Therapy can be challenging and I believe it is important to work on building mutual trust between us, working with respect and integrity in a holding and confidential environment in a supportive and collaborative way, to help facilitate growth and change.
I am a fully qualified Psychotherapist and provide Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy and provide counseling and psychotherapy support, working with adults and teenagers offering both long and short term therapy to individuals and groups.
I work with a wide range of psychological, emotional and relational problems.
I have experience of working therapeutically within the NHS, MIND, Cancer Support Services and in a secondary school. My work with clients is supervised by a UKCP registered pscyhotherapist.
I am a member of UKCP, ITAA, EATA, UKATA and IARTA and adhere to their ethical frameworks.
I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist.
